Realtors serve families who are buying a home or selling a house provides the opportunity to help people with one of the largest financial decisions they will make in their lifetime.
To get started in Real Estate Sales a prospective real estate agent attends real estate licensing classes. A brokerage will then sponsor a prospective real estate agent for the real estate licensing exam.
Passing the real estate licensing exam prepares an agent for the technical, legal, ethical, and many other aspects of real estate sales. However, passing the real estate licensing test does actually prepare a prospective real estate agent to succeed in the field.
Learning the subtleties of the sales profession, including networking, qualifying, rapport building, and closing are not actually taught in real estate school. Most of the skills required to be successful in real estate sales are actually learned in on the job training after passing the real estate licensing exam,
Real Estate Agents or potential agents have many choices when it comes to choosing a real estate brokerage to join. Some large and well-established real estate brokerages seem to offer many benefits, including real estate sales training, but it can be easy to get lost in the big scheme of things. Real Estate Brokers at the larger agencies are usually very successful real estate agents who don’t have time to devote to newer agent training. Large class sizes and canned real estate sales training may not provide the personalized training that actually prepares agents to succeed.
Smaller real estate brokerages like Kerber Realty offer more personalized training, mentoring, and coaching in real estate sales. Daily encouragement, motivation, and supervision by a working real estate broker can be invaluable to getting your real estate career off to a great start. If you are curious about a career in real estate sales or looking for a real estate brokerage that offers more personalized training in real estate sales, then Kerber Realty might be right for you!
